Where Should I Stay?
Living in a place that so many people from around the world visit has its advantages. One of those being that there is absolutely no shortage of accommodation options within 20 minutes of our venue in downtown Gulfport. That's the good news! The bad news you ask? There are so many options it can be dizzying for some to narrow options down. Below are areas outlined that will have lodging options to suit budgets, experiences, and location.
As we are having a smaller wedding, we will not be securing any hotel blocks as rates will be much better on the web.
Gulfport (Walk to Venue/Less that 5 Minute Drive)
In Gulfport you will find many small homes and condos on Airbnb and VRBO. There is also the The Peninsula Hotel, a small boutique hotel in the heart of downtown Gulfport.
If booking an Airbnb or VRBO in Gulfport, you will want to be west of 49th Street S. and south of 22nd Ave S. You can also call or text Jamie at 828.289.4478 if you have questions about different areas of Gulfport.
Downtown St. Petersburg (10-15 Minute Drive/Uber to Venue)
Downtown St. Petersburg has every kind of lodging option you could ask for. From your standard Holiday Inn Express to The Vinoy (a St. Pete Icon for luxury and experience) you will be able to find exactly what you are looking for.
The Beaches (10-25 Minute Drive/Uber to the Venue)
Much like downtown St. Petersburg with the amount of options but with up close views of our famous white sand beaches and the Gulf of Mexico.
You will want to look at St. Pete Beach and Treasure Island as your closest options to the venue in Gulfport.
Further north are Madeira, Indian Rocks, and Clearwater Beaches. All are amazing with many lodging options. However you will be looking at a 30 minute to hour and a half drive or Uber to the venue depending on traffic. And we have lots of that here!
